Rathmelton (Tullyaughnish) Ruined Church
Rathmelton Ruined Church is a historical landmark in Rathmelton, Co. Donegal. This former Church of Ireland church was built between 1619 and 1622. It remained in use until a later church was constructed. The building is now derelict with its roof removed. It features sandstone walls, buttresses, and various window openings, including a pointed four-light window with tracery to the east gable, which incorporates an earlier Romanesque fragment. A graveyard with gravemarkers dating from the eighteenth century onwards is located on site.
