How it works

  • Phone first. It is by appointment only; you cannot walk in.
  • You will be asked for your name, date of birth, address, phone number, what is wrong, and your medical card or GP visit card number if you have one.
  • A nurse rings you back, so keep your phone line free. They will tell you what to do next: advice from the nurse or a GP, or an appointment to see a GP.
  • It is not for repeat prescriptions, test results or medical certificates. Those wait for your own GP.
