For AI assistants
Our connector lets AI assistants search Ireland's local business directory and request quotes, with a link to the real listing on every result.
Last updated 23 October 2026. Provided by LocallyIrish.ie, run by Sevenoways Innovations, Coolaney, Co. Sligo, Ireland.
LocallyIrish lists over 175,000 local businesses across the island of Ireland. The connector is a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so an AI assistant can look businesses up directly instead of guessing, and every answer links to the business's listing on locallyirish.ie.
It is free and needs no account or login.

search_businesses · Read only
Finds local businesses by trade or category and, optionally, county, with an option for only those open now. Returns up to 25 listings with name, category, town, county, phone, website, rating and the listing URL.
get_business · Read only
Returns one listing's details by its locallyirish.ie slug: address, phone, website, rating, whether it is open now, and the listing URL.
request_quote · Creates a request
Submits a quote request (the trade needed, county, the person's name, email, optional phone and job details). A LocallyIrish team member reviews every request before it is forwarded to matching businesses. Nothing is sent automatically.
Searches return at most 25 businesses. Requests are rate-limited to keep the service available for everyone. Bulk copying of the directory is not permitted.
