Armagh, Co. Armagh is home to The King's Stables, a historical landmark. This site features a circular pool, approximately 25 metres across and 3–4 metres deep, fed by a stream. Excavations have revealed animal bones, deer antlers, dog bones, clay moulds for casting bronze swords, and part of a human skull. Radiocarbon dating indicates a Late Bronze Age origin (c. 1000–500 BC), suggesting a ritual use. The site is open to the public and entry is free.
