Clo Chocolate

Clo Chocolates is a Small Artisan locally owned Irish Brand based in Co.Sligo.

Clotilde's journey as a chocolatier began at a young age. At 16, she entered pastry school, and at 18, she came to Sligo, where she fell in love with Ireland and its people. Her expertise was further refined at the prestigious two Michelin-starred Joel Robuchon restaurant in Paris before returning to Sligo to pursue her passion for patisserie and chocolate making.

Fast forward to 2022, with a successful bakery established for 10 years and a selection of handcrafted truffles and Florentines selling out on a weekly basis, Clo Chocolates was born. The excitement of experimenting with new flavours and designs required a new and dedicated space for chocolate, to fulfil the demand and interest, both locally and nationwide.

Now in 2025, the vision of Clo Chocolates, focusing on perfecting classic chocolate combinations with a modern twist, remains as vivid as ever. But alongside our original vision, providing a product that is both sustainable and luxurious has become a priority. As a mum of two boys, Clo's values are focused on the future of this planet for them. We take a mindful approach towards crafting our products for each order, by using ethically sourced ingredients, becoming more mindful of the impact of packaging and moving towards compostable branding.
