Bantry Tech & Repairs

Ah, Bantry! Lovely place, but sometimes our phones can struggle with the local conditions, especially when the weather turns.

Extreme temperatures, be it the chill of winter or a surprisingly warm summer day, can affect your phone's battery life. If you notice your phone acting sluggish or shutting down unexpectedly in cold weather, try keeping it in an inside pocket closer to your body. Similarly, avoid leaving your phone in direct sunlight on a hot day.

Another thing to watch out for is moisture. While many phones are now water-resistant, they aren't entirely waterproof. A bit of sea spray or heavy rain can still cause issues. If your phone does get wet, resist the urge to turn it on or charge it straight away. Gently dry it off and consider letting it air dry completely before attempting to power it up again.
